This Week’s Menu at the Children’s Center


Regular Menu

MONDAY

MORNING: 1/2 cup Cereal, ¾ cup Milk and ½ cup Juice

LUNCH:  Pizza (12 cut – 1 Pizza contains 24 oz shredded cheese made on whole wheat crust), ¼ cup Carrots or Chopped Romaine & Broccoli Salad, ¼ cup Fruit Cocktail and ¾ cup Milk

P.M. SNACK:  1/2 cup Fresh Sliced Cantaloupe, 1/4 cup Low Fat Yogurt, Water

TUESDAY

MORNING: ¼ cup Cream of Wheat, 1 Tbsp. raisins, ¾ cup Milk and ½ cup fresh Honey Dew slices

LUNCH: ½ cup Spanish brown rice with ground beef, ¼ cup Peas, ¼ cup Pears, ¾ cup Milk

P.M. SNACK:   ½ cup sliced Cucumber and Pepper slices and ½ cup Milk

WEDNESDAY

MORNING: 1/2 cup Cereal, ¾ cup Milk and ½ cup Juice

LUNCH: Hamburger on Bun, ¼ cup 5 Way Blend Vegetable, ¼ cup Pineapple Tidbits, and ¾ cup Milk

P.M. SNACK: 1/2 oz. Cubed Cheese, 4 Whole Wheat Crackers, Water

(1 – 3oz. Home Style Burger on a Whole Wheat Bun)

THURSDAY

MORNING: 1/2 cup Cereal, ¾ cup Milk and ½ cup Juice

LUNCH:  1 ½ oz Diced chicken in ½ oz gravy, 1/2 slice Whole Wheat Bread, ¼ cup Corn, ¼ cup Mandarin Oranges and ¾ cup Milk

P.M. SNACK: 10 g Pretzels, 1/2 cup Baby Carrots and Broccoli, Water

FRIDAY

MORNING: 1 Pancake, 1 Tbsp Syrup, ¾ cup Milk and ½ cup Watermelon Slices

LUNCH:  1/2 cup Macaroni & Cheese with Ham, ¼ cup Applesauce, 1/4 cup Green Beans and ¾ cup Milk

P.M. SNACK:  1/2 cup Fresh Orange Wedges, 1/2 cup Milk

WEDNESDAY

LUNCH:  1/2 cup Ground Beef Stroganoff with Whole Wheat spirals,  ¼ cup Mandarin Oranges, 1/4 cup Green Beans and ¾ cup Milk

P.M. SNACK:  ½ cup Broccoli and Carrots, 10 g. Pretzels, Water

FRIDAY

MORNING: ¼ cup Cream of Wheat, 1 Tbsp. Brown sugar, ¾ cup Milk, ½ cup Watermelon

LUNCH:  Soft Taco Shell (1 each), 1 oz. Fresh Chopped Lettuce,  1 oz. Diced Fresh Tomatoes, 1 oz. Taco Meat, 1 oz Vegetarian Beans,  1 oz Shredded Cheese, ¼ cup Pears and ¾ cup Milk

FRIDAY

3/8 cup Chick Pea Curry, ¼ cup Brown Rice, ¼ cup Green Beans, ¼ cup Pineapple, ¾ cup Milk

THURSDAY

1 Morning Star Veggie Burger on a Whole Wheat bun, ¼ cup Mixed Vegetables, ¼ cup Mandarin Oranges, ¾ cup Milk

FRIDAY

¼ cup Whole Wheat spirals, ¼ cup sauce made with Morning Star product, ¼ cup Carrots, ¼ cup Applesauce, ¾ cup Milk

Mission Statement


Corning Children's Center strives to set the standard in early care and education by inspiring learners, leaders and dreamers.

Accreditation


Our program was among the first early-childhood centers to receive accreditation from Middle States, and we have maintained this accreditation since 2005.
