Accreditation identifies organizations that provide a consistently high quality of care and education based on recognized standards of excellence. Our accrediting agency, the Middle States Commission on Elementary Education, has developed rigorous standards that reflect research-based best practices. These standards provide the basis for an accreditation process that includes an on-site, in-depth evaluation. In addition, we use these standards and the accompanying indicators of quality as tools in our own ongoing process of continuous improvement.
Our program was among the first early-childhood centers to receive accreditation from Middle States, and we have maintained this accreditation since 2005. Find out more about the rigorous Middle States Commission on Elementary Education accreditation program.
There are many differences among child care centers – even among those that provide the very best of care and education. We believe that our combination of accreditation, the availability of continuity of care, unique experiences, dedicated staff, hands-on oversight by Age Level Specialists and a Program Director distinguish Corning Children’s Center from others in the area.
