About the Center – Philosophy

We are dedicated to providing high-quality care and education for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Our staff members recognize and appreciate the uniqueness of each child, and we cultivate a sense of community that is positive, gentle, warm, diverse, inclusive, creative, stimulating, and genuine.

We believe we serve our children as both caregivers and educators. Research supports our conviction that children are best able to grow and learn when they can freely explore a world in which they feel cared for and safe. With this in mind, nurturing, learning, and safety form the three legs of the stool upon which our program is based.

Our educational programs focus on introducing children to the world around them, and we tailor our curriculum to each child. We expand their individual knowledge and experiences in all key areas — physical, social/emotional, creative, and cognitive — in ways that are appropriate to their developmental age. We believe it is important to provide a rich array of experiences that develop their skills and knowledge and stimulate their imagination.
