Rick’s involvement on the board has positive lasting impact on the Center and his continued commitment as Blue Moon Ball auctioneer drives high participation at the event. “Philanthropists come in many guises. Rick Maxa is quiet and understated in his giving, but he can be counted on to be there for the long haul. And his giving comes in many forms; financial, consultative, in his volunteer time and energy, and as a champion for our work. Rick always says, ‘small towns need every one of us.’ His life exemplifies that belief. We are excited to have his generosity and leadership recognized and honored in the wider community, said Peigi Cook, Executive Director, Corning Children’s Center. “Small towns need every one of us.” Rick Maxa ”
